Château Bessan Premières Côtes de Bordeaux 2002 Red has a nice crimson colour; it is well structured, and has fullness and length. It is a blend of 40% Merlot and 60% Cabernet grown on a clay and gravel soil. Its powerful nose of ripe fruit and violet is pleasant.
Château Bessan Bordeaux 2005 Red comes from a selection of red grapes grown on specific parts of the estate. It is a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon grown on clay and sand soil. It is a fruity and round wine, which can be served as early as two year old.
Perles de Bessan is a sparkling dry white wine, fruity and elegant, made with Sémillon grape, hand-picked and pressed with a special care. This wine has been traditionally matured "sur lie" for twelve months. You may serve it as an aperitif or with dessert. A perfect match for any memorable meal, it will also go well with fish and seafood.
Premières Côtes de Bordeaux Blanc Liquoreux is a sweet white wine exclusively made of Sémillon grown on a clay and gravel soil. The result is a fine balance between alcohol, sugar and acidity, with aromas of honey and dry fruit. Excellent with foie gras paté, poultry, and white meat, Roquefort or blue cheese, dry fruit and desserts; it is also a very pleasant aperitif. Serves at its best when chilled.
